Have been wanting to write a blog for years, but felt held back by a perspective of it needing a single topic to follow. When the mind is curious about most all things, trying to limit thinking to only one aspect of living is near impossible. The light-bulb-coming-on-overhead moment came with the realization that a thinking-outside-the-box approach might better to be honest and write about ALL those things of interest.
You, the reader, will have opportunity to read about different things here. Some topics will fall under different schools of philosophical thought, while others may be nothing more than a picture posted of a most beautiful sunset, a famous quote, an uplifting meme (maybe even a too-funny one), a currently running “craft” project... expect anything. Some informative. Some just for the fun of it.
A substantial stack o’books has been accumulated here that are now calling to be read, since time now allows for it. A lot of those books are fictional stories (won't bore here by writing book reviews). The topics of these books for study include the Tarot, astrology, numerology, the Akashic records, astral projection, past life experiences, sacred geometry, fractal space/time/existence, energy work, Shamanism, Reiki, pendulum work, color therapy, crystal/gemstone associations, the Law of Attraction, working with archangels... the list grows daily!
Several attempts have been made to study the Tarot throughout life, but each attempt has met with the thought that "there's a LOT of information to know and understand here"... then life would happen, presenting a distraction, and initial efforts would be forgotten when interest in a promising new topic placed feet on yet another path that took off in search of some other new bit of information... or just having some fun!
Understanding the Tarot is screaming for attention NOW! Pulled out a couple of those books [from the “stacks”] just mentioned. Study progressed only through the first three cards into the Major Arcana when struck with thought, "A better understanding of astrology would greatly assist in the study of Tarot!". Put Tarot study on “temporary” (😂) hold and jumped into astrology. Studying astrology presented more questions, which led to reaching for another book for an answer... and it is delivering in spades a wealth of understanding (with new questions coming in continually... of COURSE!)! "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" by Manly Hall is an amazing wealth of historical esoteric beliefs and teachings. It gives light to understanding of where we have been in order to plan for where we are going from a historic spiritual view. SO many questions being answered there, and have come to believe that this path is a good one... as it gives potential for better self understanding, which in turn will result in living a fuller, more enriched life. (Being able to make better decisions would be SUCH an asset!) We cannot begin to understand others in an attempt to live in harmonious environs without first being in possession of an understanding of self! IMHO... of course!
So you guessed it... the initial intent was to study a single thing, and now three different topics are being juggled up into the air. BUT... they are all intertwined, and one very important thing stands out, that is...
An understanding of astrology and our own Natal Chart would make living this life SO much EASIER! Already beginning to feel the confusion of life slipping away as it is replaced with one "ah-HAH!" moment followed by another! On a very basic level (but the foundational support of ALL things)... and George O’Malley (movie “Phenomenon”) said it best, “We’re all made of the same stuff... energy!”..., energy is gonna flow. It is in constant movement. When we can understand the energy pulls on us from everything around us, we can live life well. Our Solar System and everything in it has its own energy. That energy is constantly moving as our system travels through space. Understanding the energetic properties of the planets and their daily shifts through spacial orbital changes helps us to understand why today might be a “bad day” but tomorrow everything can be coming up Unicorns Fartin’ Rainbows (UFR)... and why you wish you had just stayed in bed every day that Mercury is in retrograde! 😂 We need a better understanding of our “space” and energy flows within it. Simple as that.

This effort is a personal one in which making a blog record of the progress being made will 1) help solidify the knowledge in self and 2) provide feeling of accountability to complete the study process... not allow new interests to distract (even though they, too, will be reported here! 😆) These blog posts are not intended for in-depth understanding. Personal belief is that in order to have full understanding of any concept, it requires effort and work from the individual.
